The Hotel Lombardy is a boutique-style hotel located in the trendy Foggy Bottom District of Washington, D.C. the hotel is two blocks from the Blue and Orange Lines at Farragut West Metro stop and five miles from Ronald Reagan National Airport. Dulles International Airport and Baltimore Washington Airport are also accessible from the Hotel Lombardy. Hotel Features. The hotel's neighborhood bistro, Café Lombardy, specializes in American buffet-style meals. Wine and spirits are served in the intimate Venetian Room amid velvet upholstery and Asian silk wall coverings. The hotel offers three meeting rooms designed by Italian textile and dress designer Mariano Fortuny. Each room boasts a rare blend of Fortuny fabric, firework, gilded walls and Japanese-style wallpaper featuring images borrowed from vintage Japanese Kimonos of the 1920s.
